I'm going to be removing the heater/blower/matrix and i'm just wondering what's the best way to do so, do you need to connect the two pipes that connect to the heater matrix together?

How have you done this?

yes mate put the 2 heater pipes together and centrally cut these and join together ,i used a 15mm piece of copper pipe and jubilee clip both ends .
