Default Hawkeye speedo clocks into a blob

Anyone done this ?

Defi style sti 10 hawkeye clocks into a 2005 sti9.

Any help please.

Yes mate, i done it recently.
you don't have to mess with the clocks but you have to mess with with the connectors in your car

You have to trim the ridges off the connector(left, closest to the passenger) in your car with a stanley blade so it is smooth as it won't fit into the clocks other wise.

Once done you have to cut the green and yellow wire on the right connector to stop the buzzing.

Might sound a bit complicated but it's fine when you are looking at it. well worth the effort, hawkeye clocks are so much better.

Just to add, when fitting the connectors into the clocks you have to turn them upside down.

Cheers dude gonna have a go now,so is it the connector closest to drivers side that has the green/yellow wire /,and i just snip this.
