type r gearing

got 97 type r which is delimited but could nether see it hitting 150 mph or what ever there ment to hit . gearing so short? does everyone else s feel the same lol

Yeah my v5 I think may be even shorter.Top speed should still be pretty good,given how high they rev.
I'm not to fussed about top speed though,I just like how quick it gets to the limiter.
I thought the short gearing may be a bit annoying in the beginning but to be honest I love constantly working the box.

My v5 STI type R works out to be around the 155mph mark at 8000rpm, wouldnt like to do it though

yea i dont really care about top end speed either just cant see it. I love the short gears but does get tiring lol
