Impreza Sport Exhaust
Hello fellas,
Nearly time for me to start driving my new Hawkeye Impreza 2.0r. Before the insurance has even activated.. I'm already looking at mods. Due to my age, I want to refrain from performance mods as much as I can. One thing that has slightly disappointed me is the sound.. I've been looking into a new muffler and I notice Subaru do an official one.

They want £350 for it not including fitting. The fitting isn't a problem, that can be done by myself. Can anyone recommend a good replacement? Not really bothered if it's genuine or not.. £350 is just a tad steep. I want it to sound good too.. naturally!
Thanks boys!

Yeah I was thinking about that.. I thought I'd start with the simple stuff first and work up to things like that. I also though that doing that level of modding might put off potential buyers in the future? People who want a standard one? Not sure, could attract them, I've no idea. Is it a pretty easy job? I'm certainly no mechanic XD. Do you have any links to prices or what would fit? Cheers, sorry to be a pain!
I'll have a look into that but right now I'm looking for a muffler like the one in the video! Anyone got any suggestions? :3
Edit: Oh and also I hear you lose a bit of power converting it to an un-equal manifold.. any truth in that?

iam not 100% sure but i cant see unequal headers effecting power on a N/A car. My advice if you start changing parts would be keep the bits they take off so you can return to standard since it sounds like as soon as you can afford to buy a turbo this car will be going
