Default Coilover problem....

Right fellas, after searching and getting conflicting instructions on how to do this, i thought i would ask myself!

Basically i need to know how to adjust these Apex coilovers....

Am i right in thinking that i have to -

1. unscrew bottom ring of the coilover
2. turn top ring counter clockwise to lower (middle ring Clockwise to higher)
3. tighten bottom ring when satisfied with height

Or am i meant to be turning the actual body of the caliper with my hand?????

Thanks guys

If they're off the car you should be able to turn the whole shock body in/out of the lower hub mount once the lower locking ring has been loosened!

If they're still on the car it may be difficult to turn by hand so you use the upper rings to turn the whole shock body...
