Bought a scooby yesterday and the key fob was working all normal, then i went to lock it at work and nothing happened so now the car is still stuck at my workplace (tesco) as you cant turn it over due to needing the fob.
Can someone please help??

 

Is there a radio antenna nearby ie police station, radio station, fire station?

 

well ive just got the car towed home and still no luck on the driveway, its weird because it was working fine yesterday. Also the alarm doesnt go off when you open it with the key very frustrating

 

Do you have the 4 digit code for the keypad immobiliser?

 

It could just need the key re setting to the car. Instructions and codes in the alarm handbook. Had this happen to me recently and it fixed the problem.

 

disconnected the battery last night and reconnected about half hour later and it worked , but went back to work today and it was having trouble again, did eventually get it working but must be just certain places. And yeah i have got the code
