Default DV less

Hi I'm toying with the idear of removing my DV basically because the noise sound cool. Just after a few answers.

Firstly can my vf37 handle this, Ive herd it can reduce turbo life.

will i need a map tweek?

I also assume i will need some kind of blanking plate to fit on my top mount? Where would i get such a thing?

Thanks Tom

Yes will reduce life of turbo(on longer run),your turbo will handle this and doesn't help to spool of turbo.
About the blanking the plate for TMIC you should contact here Harvey.

I dont think it is advisable on a ball bearing turbo due to the way they are designed and not as tough as some of the sleeve bearing type turbo's. If you had a td05/6 , i would say go for it,but thev vf series not as tough as the td series imho.

I run a TD05 on my car with no DV. It gives it a really nice sound (the sound of my aftermarket DV started to annoy me) one thing I would say is that it doesn't help the lag time on the bigger turbos
