My 03 WRX PPP started making a hissing noise and loosing boost - I found a 1" split in the Y shaped hose under the intercooler I need to get another one - are there different types for different models? Mine has Prodrive written on it - does this mean it is different from standard? Obviously I need to get one soon as I can, it'll be easier if they are all the same!

take it like a sign and make a upgrade to a STI V8 TMIC. The STI Y pipe will be metal.

The STI y pipe isn't fully metal, it uses a red silicone section as well as metal sections.

To OP, you will need to find a y pipe from a newage wrx that has the ppp if you want ot replace like for like.

 

I've got this Y pipe if it's any good to you. It's from an STI8 top mount. Ignore what it is currently connected to, swapped my classic top mount for a newage top mount and both pipes were identical.

£25 delivered if you want it or £40 for the whole thing including P1 top mount.

 

i have a uk300 TMIC complete with prodrive pipes etc. let us know if you want any of it.

Thanks Chris and Mike - as I needed to get it working asap I have attempted a repair to the hose so I'll see how it goes (local Subaru parts department not open on Saturdays) - I expect I'll be back here in a few days to see if either of you still have parts available!
