Default break down - no pwer to fuel pump/cel light

(UPDATED)

Hi all,

My 93 wrx broke down yesterday. I was driving along and it just died.
Waiting for the AA I worked out that there was an electrical gremlin.
I had lost power to the fuel pump relay and the cel light was not lit with key at ign. A bit of reading points me towards ecu power failure.
At the time it appeared that when wiggling wires under the drivers side dash the power was restored but after a day on it today I cant replacate this.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this.
Im hoping it was just a badly seated main relay. Ive done 150 miles now and its fine.

have a look at this thread - post 20 shows a photo of the main relay along with the fuel pump relay. they sit on the bulkhead up above the accelerator pedal (more or less where your right knee points....

yeah i found em now thanks mate. i think this is either:
rain got in somewhere (had heavy rain all day)
piggyback chip fault
relay failing
alarm playing up

ive ruled out the alarm,
top suspect is now connectors by the battery have might have got water in them after the heavy rainfall. the bonnet vent drain holes drips straight onto them!
