when i start my car when its cold,the rad drips from near the sides,but when it gets hot it stops,can drive round all day and its fine,but as soon as i stop and it goes cold the rad starts to drip again,then gets hot and stops again,is the rad gone and i need a new one,the system has been bled proper as the fans kick in and all the pipes are hot,its just when its cold that it leeks.thank ste

 

is it a standard one with plastic ends? if so thats where mine went. would drip over night. Got a full alloy one for £120.

 

Common place for them to go, the heat causes the plastic to expand, sealing the gap, which will be just a crack.

I looked at alloy ones, but bought like for like, since my old one lasted 12 years
