Default Putting a P1 bottom end into version 1 WRX, simple enuf?

Hello peeps, having bought my WRX knocking and only running on 3 cylinders (it was extremely cheap and otherwise immaculate) I have managed to get my hands on a very low mileage P1 bottom end which i'm hoping will be a straight swap for my WRX one, am I correct or am I deluded!! It is my understanding that a P1 bottom end is the same as an STI? it has the forged pistons marked HF-2 same as an STI and the block itself looks identical to my WRX block. Will I be able to use my WRX heads inlet and management/ignition or am i barking up the wrong tree? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Default

yes short engine is straight swap..

obviously differences like piston dish volume. etc.. but using the thick gaskets and get a remap will make not too much difference
