Default service issues

iv just done cambelt, tensioners, water pump, spark plugs, oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter on my 03 wrx, now when i rev up at standstill there is a very slight hesitation then the rev picks up, it may have been there before but iv only just noticed it!

Any suggestions

have you double checked your timing ??

Yeah twice, and turned it over by hand twice, my only issue was that the drivers side cams had black plastic type covers and to time them up I just turned themby hand is that correct, they would turn say 90 degrees then get resistance, where as the passenger side had loads of resistance which needed to be turned by an Allen key!

All timing marks were spot on!

You've got more ***** than me, doing your own timing belt & then asking if you've done it right having noticed a possible slight problem!

Yeah thanks for that helpful advice, really worth typing that wasn't it!

Like I say it was probaly there before but was just curious about it
