Is it the factory fitted Sigma alarm, with a keypad in the glovebox?

If it is, get rid of it, nothing but trouble, had it on a my00 classic, mobile phone towers, fire engines going past, multi storey car parks, caused havoc.

The reason i ask is because the alarm on mine had a blue Subaru fob too, and it definately wasnt a clifford.

I have a similar issue with my bugeye immobilser, think its the sigma one as it goes. what mine does is the immobiliser gets locked on and it means I have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes like resetting a computer, then it generally works okay. Its very temperamental when it goes and gets locked on the remote fob doesn't work and stops you from locking or unlocking the car which would set or reset the immobiliser. If I am lucky I realise and start the car before the immobiliser sets.
Glad to hear its not just mine that's a problem and I was in the mind set that I was going to change it.
Anyone got any recommendations of replacement cat 1 alarm/immobilsers?
Also if you go to a specialist and they fit a new alarm will they be able to remove the old crappy sigma stuff and prevent any future issues?
Forgot to mention like one of the above posts mine does have the immobilser keypad by the fuse box under the steering column
