Default Td04 cat problem?

Hey guys, i got a turbo 2000 my00 which i bought fully decatted and now want to fit the downpipe cat, problem is all the cats i find online only have the single pipe coming off the back off the turbo, where as the pipe fitted to mine (its a mongoouse i think) splits with a smaller pipe branching off the top of the down pipe and in to the turbo

The turbo is the standard TD04 is that helps? Is this normal for a turbo 2000 as like i said all the catted downpipes i find have just the single pipe?

Thanks!

It is a 'Divorced' downpipe. As opposed to the ones you are seeing, they are 'Bellmouth' downpipes.

The benefits are argued both ways.
The Divorced takes the wastegate gases down the smaller pipe and mixes them in to the main exhaust further down.
The Bellmouth discharges both wastegate and exhaust gases down a single pipe.
Use the search for opinions.

Either will fit.
