Default TGV Sensor

I'm currently doing a round of mods to my bugeye but unfortunately I've managed to crush my drivers side TGV Sensor fitting a TD05.

I've bought a new sensor from Andy @ scoopyspares , but I'm a bit confused about how to fit it.

I've read that the sensor needs to be pre-loaded when fitting, but i'm not sure how much by?? Is it just a case of putting it on upside down, turning it 180 degrees and then bolting up?

I don't really want to fit it wrong put the turbo back on to find out that i need to tear it all down again, so any advice would be much appreciated!!

Cheers

Ben

I fitted one a few years back and if i remember rightly you fit with the plug socket pointing at 12 o clock and then rotate till the bolt holes line up to set the spring load.

bugeyejohn - Thanks a lot I'll give that a go.

Shaun - I will remove the TGVs eventually but I'm hoping that i can just replace the sensor for now, i've got a Tactrix cable so I can remove the appropriate CELs...

Cheers
