Default air leak

hi all been on forums couple of days getting advice about running fault.ive got impreza 94 ,tdo5 ,frt mount , blitz boost control . my fault is when hitting turbo i hear air pressure/leak but only get hesitation .i have been told could be actuator and to check all air pipes intercooler/boost etc , all apear to be ok . while being under bonnet have notice slight leak on turbo wear it meats straight threw front pipe , put abit of water/spit on it and there was air bubbles leaking out . would this cause hesitation i.e air pressure lose ??

thought so well all i can do is at least eliminate it and see , is it fairly easy to change gasket , looks ok to do but bolts look corroded and would you replace bolts with new ??

I would soak the bolts with wd40 over night before attempting to loosen them.

I wouldn't replace any unless they were damaged. Also try cleaning your boost control solenoid with carb cleaner. That has been known to cause hesitation issues if all gunked up.
