not sure on this one,
as i am upgrading to a 18g turbo i want to eliminate any restrictions, i have heard the intake is restrictive, is this the airbox itself and filter or the pipe from turbo to airbox

At that power level a replacement panel filter should be all you need. The exhaust is usually modified before the intake. Modifications in order of bang for buck: Decat or sports cat, porting and polishing, larger diameter turbo back exhaust.
