Default need help on this one.PLEASE

hi all
changing pulleys on 2002 bugeye, for light weight one's,,crank and alt easy. power steering i have found is pressed on.
got old one off very stubbon b++++r. but in need of how to press new one on,

do i strip pump and press pulley onto shaft only and then rebuild, or can i press on pulley while pump is together, not sure what force will do to internal parts of pump. as pushing new pulley on...
please help.

i had to do this with my pullys from cdf, chris told me just to put some wd40 on the pump shaft, make sure the pully is square and do the nut up, forcing the pully on. It worked fine.

Scoobymike : You will have a different pulley to p1drifter!

For you car you will have to remove the pump from the car to remove the pulley.

You will have to take the actual pump apart .... remove the shaft then press the new one on. Did you buy these from us?

hi cdf ,
i am doing this on my mates car, not sure where he bought um from. is it hard to strip pump. and rebuild then,
