HELP!!
Hi guys and girls i was doing some work on the car today and i had to move the alternator, but wen i have put it back in place i have gone to move the car but i have no electrics no nothing what could it be?

very new to impreza engines which fuse would i be lookin for? also it is a 94 classic import if that makes a difference.

under the bonnet pass side test them all but if it dead then it maybe one of the big one's

Have you LOOKED in the fusebox yet?
OK, from scratch: You HAVE put the alternator belt back?
Have you checked the plug at the rear of the alternator?

checkin fusebox tomorrow and belt is back on and plug is plugged in, when i put key in ignition i dont even get any lights come on , on the dash.

was the battery still connected while you was doing all this?

i did disconnect but as i was puttin alternator back it did spark on me, could it be a fried alternator?

start by checking all main fuses in the fuse box.hopefully you have not fried anythin

You disconnected the battery and the alternator still sparked?

with the battery disconnected there should of been no spark, the battery is the powersource, the alternator ony produces current when the engines running
