Ok, I have a 2002 bugeye sti with PPP (81000 miles) Now think the prodrive cat is getting a bit tired (tinny). Just wanted some advice where to go next.
Do i just replace the cat? Do i replace the whole system?
Do i need a re-map if i do? Do i go de-cat? so on and so on

Unless you replace the cat with an identical Prodrive one you are going to need a map.
