If you fit larger injectors, they you will need a remap. Depending on the year of your car, pre 97 cars cant be remapped, they need either a new ecu, an ESL or a chip.
What mods has your car got?
As for oil, Catrol Syntrax is what i have in mine, its very good stuff.

www.opieoils.co.uk is the place for oils etc...
I would remove the prova ecu personally, they are mapped to run on 100-102 ron fuel. If you decide to keep it, before you do anything else i would buy a Knocklink, to check if its detting.
Have just checked your garage, nice motor!

Hmm, I am running 380cc injectors at 17psi with no problems.
Have you got a boost controller fitted anywhere? If it was me, i would remove the ECU, and the front mount, and fit a std ecu. At least then you know the car will be safer. Save up the cash, and have an ESL fitted, then the car will be mapped for UK fuel, your front mount etc...

Hmm, Remove the boost controller, and refit everything back to the standard boost control solenoid. You will then probably make the 16psi your looking for.... How long have you had the car? I would be suspicious as to why the boost has been turned down... It wont be due to the fueling, as the ECU is set to run 16psi on them injectors.

You should have a TD05. 11psi isnt 1.1bar, so he is feeding you rubbish.
I would remove the manual boost controller, and go back to the factory boost controller. I suspect that the boost has been turned down due to an issue you are not aware of yet... I say this because my mate was in a similer situation, the boost was turned down, and on increasing boost to the factory level he discovered his clutch was slipping.
If you need help removing the manual BC, let me know!

Increasing the fuel pressure will extend the range of the injectors but only by a relatively small percentage eg. 25% increase in fuel pressure (which is probably not a good idea) will result in 5% power increase ability.
You cannot go changing injectors or increasing fuel pressure without remapping the car if you want it to run properly.

If you look at the injectors and they are a grey colour they are 380cc and capable of around 280 bhp or a little more on standard fuel pressure. If they are yellow they are 440cc and these will top out somewhere before 320 bhp. After that you need 550cc injectors which will get you almost to 400 bhp on standard fuel pressure. You have a Classic so you need side feed injectors.

the car is very quick so im guessing it does hit the 300bhp mark, what top speed are you talking from say 250bhp and then 300bhp
thanks for the help guys

i have the rolling road to proove it mate, and the car is very quick i do belive it is running around the 298 bhp figure as shown just not sure how the hell it is on that psi, car needs booking in and need to find out exactly whats been done to it
okay i will check and find out what injectors it has, but ideally i want to take the car to a specialist or someone near me who is clued up on these to know what the hells been done to it because at the minute im highly confused on this bloody car and whats actually been done to it, maybe it has had more done then i know and previous owner knew,

The RR figures were taken 2 years ago... So something has gone wrong between now and then. Imo, that figure of 298bhp means nothing as you are noway near running the correct amount of boost to make that kind of power. I am not saying it DIDNT make it, obviously it did, BUT something has gone wrong between now and then.
You need to get rid of the manual boost controller **** thing you have under the bonnet, and plumb everything back to the factory boost control solenoid. That would be a logical start. You should be running 16psi on that ecu, your only making 11psi most likely because your manual boost controller is turned down.

I cant answer what your top speed will be at certain bhp figures. Top speed is also down to gearing and torque. Not just bhp.
I am starting to loose track as to what your question actually is?

well ive found out most questions i want ive just got to take the car to garage to find out why psi is so low, if it is running around the 300bhp figure, if its running standard injectors and see if anything else has been done with engine because surely it wouldnt hit 300bhp with just fmic, prova ecu and exhaust system
i dont want to turn psi up if its been lowerd for a reason

You will be running 380cc injectors, Unless they are yellow, in which case you have 440.
And 300bhp isnt uncommon for that type of set up to be honest.
