Default Window Washer

Hi , I have a 1998 Subaru Impreza Sport. A couple of days ago i tried to clean the windscreen but the washer wouldnt work. It didnt even make the noise. Checked the fuse but it seems fine. Does anyone have any other suggestions. I guessed the motor could be broken. Thanks

COULD be the motor, yes, but could also be blockage in both jets, blocked, kinked or nipped tubing, blocked motor, even corroded motor terminals.

The best thing to do is have the reservoir off, (two bolts and a LOT of wiggling), remove pump, clean it, and test BRIEFLY across the battery.

Then work outwards from there if it IS working.

While mine was off the road I cleaned out the whole sytem. Now it sprays so powerfully that I swear the car surges forwards when I spray
