im looking at a scooby but dont understand the models. whats the differance between the wrx sti and wrxsti. which would be the mose reliable when they get some milage on them.

No difference in reliability.
WRX STI is more hardcore than WRX, and a better base for a 400+ bhp car
Other than that its personal choice, both very capable, easily modified into being quick cars. WRX newage will remain reliable at around 350bhp, some have more without issue. STI around 400 on standard internals, again some run more.
JDM STI is superior to UK STI if you go down the STI route.
