Increasing BHP and torque is why we re-map our cars Just not sure what you can't understand ?

Mismatched headers can cause problems with airflow and the exhaust gasses don't smack the turbo as they should resulting in less gain than you would want......is that what you mean ??

just a bit baffeled by the results from before an after remap.
wud u be expecting just 14ftlb increase after remap an thats if the rr is dead ***** accurate which i no they can differ.
wot wud you say are (typical)-(average)-(roughly) gains for remap ?

The gains for a remap will depend on how much the boost was raised and how the timing and fueling were altered. Typically a stock car will see about a 15-20% improvement in performance.

Have you spoken to your mapper about the result?

are those sept figures on a std uk turbo? they appear very high!

can you put the rr plots up?

i had a similar thing with my uk99 car. totally standard it was 240bhp & 212lb/ft, then with Prodrive ECU & centre silence removed & newage WRX IC it got an increase of 20lb/ft - but car is a totally different driving car

The first figures were with full stainless an reload filter. 254 then remap an only gained 1bhp an 14 ftlb . It does drive alot better but I just thought it wud be more.

Without seeing the graphs it's not much help. It could be that you've gained 30ftlb torque in areas below the peaks, can you post up both graphs?
