Default Headers on a V2 - worth it?

Hi all,

Got a V2 RA with a polar performance chip and supporting mods.

I've just got my hands on a set of GT headers that require minor welding repair work.

Question is, is it going to be worth my time putting them on the car seeing as it cant be remapped etc? Will I notice any gains or is it going to make things worse?

Cheers

Trail and error mate,
Everyone's motor is different my only suggestion is to throw it on a set off rollers or get a decent wideband on it and see what it does, are they equal or un??

p.s got that cage in yet

personally id put them on and get it on a set off rollers, you really wount know till then,
have you got a adjustable fuel reg?

Those chips were really designed to just have an after market filter and exhaust and up the boost by 0.2bar, so you may find with the fmic it may run lean?
have you got a walbro in it?

Yeah, i'm aware of what aftermarket options I have, but for the moment i'm not planning anything silly.
