Default forge dump valve

hi peeps, i am looking to buy a dump valve off ebay soon and am i looking at forge, car is newage by the way. now what i want to know is if i buy it and it is leaking boost or fecked inside is it just a case of replacing the spring for a new one or can there be more problems and where do i get a spring from if this is the part needed/knackered?

Any help appreciated.

cheers

Hi Tazz if you contact Forge,Forge will send you spring without problem, don't know if for free, but many people get for free.
About the dump valve,i would recommend VTA/recirc these are overall better on New age,I have Forge for about 8 months and must say,no problem at all.

I don't rate VTA on a Newage personally. Depends on power of course.

If Tazz you have 18g - GT30 type type your best off sticking with the recirc or go DV Delete. I think from memory you have MD321 T so the DV Delete will work a treat.

Just my pennies worth anyway.

Forge do a kit with several springs and a new diaphragm.

With the stiffest spring in, the DV will only activate under severe abuse, and be silent round town.

P.S. had one on mine since new in 2002...

Thanks a lot to everyone who replied, so its just a simple matter of contacting forge.

steve- no mate not got the MD321T yet, still on stock vf35, looking at around a month and a half. Would like a forge at the moment but when i have the T, i may just look into dv delete as ill be running a simtek, just incase it starts screwing with the standard ecu now, like yours did.

cheers everyone

I was using a Forge VTA with RED spring.

Best bet is if you want the look and sticking with TMIC put the Forge Recirc on. Again put the RED spring kit etc on and it coped with 1.6bar.
