Brakes first, remap second, you won't need to upgrade the fuel pump for this.

You could go for. Sti 550 injectors, vf35 turbo and a Walbro. That with a map will go over 300bhp easy as for breaks either a set of brembos with good discs and pads or ksport fronts.

Hi

Im in the same position and ive been gathering a few parts ready for remap in may (all been well) I`ve purchased a prodrive sports cat,2nd decat, sti up-pipe, rest s/s - K&N panel filter, 3 port boost solenoid and walbro 255 fuel pump - Im hoping for 260+ bhp after remap - Next stage will be sti tmic, 550 injectors, vf35 turbo 300bhp expected then.
I`ll be also fitting some Ian Godney groved discs and kev pads after 1st stage with braided hoses + 5.1 fluid.

I would have to say on a nearly 10 year old car I would definately change the fuel pump just for the sake of £70. It's well worth it.

Of course a remap is best bhp/buck. Just did a 2005 blobeye WRX with a TD04 like yours and netted 282.8 bhp and 294.9 lb/ft with a decat only at 1.3 bar. Anything over 260/260 is the goal to aim for really.

I charge £225 open source, so for the blobeye customer, he paid £3.57/bhp! value for money or what?

Graham
