oil pump
hi all think it is time for a cam belt change will probably do water pump wile in there i have 2000 uk classic running 280 bhp will be looking towards 330-340 later this year and wondered if its worth replacing oil pump to modified/high pressure pump wile doing cam belt
also i have seen on flat4online etc there are different size 11mm 12mm whats the differance and how do i know what one i need thanks any help appreciated

one bit of advice dont buy **** all off of flat four online if you want to see the parts while you can still drive, they very rarely deliver if at all
Stick with the factory oil pump for that MY. If you go with a higher flow pump you will just push more oil through the bypass and put more heat into the oil.
11mm pumps are made to flow more for dual AVCS cars.
12mm pumps are made for dual AVCS higher reving factory 2.0
If you have a built motor, it's common to upgrade pumps to meet the flow requirements of larger tolerances, cross drilled crank, etc....
If you have concerns with the pump that's in there I'd recommend checking it to make sure it's within the service limits. If it's not, replace it with the same.
