just bought my mates 99 uk turbo as a none runner.
it appeared to fry its fuel pump, this was just renewed and ran for a few mins then died+refused to start again.
ive read that the relay can cause problems like this,i have to get the car back to mine to start working on it,can i direct feed the fuel pump[or another fuel pump] to get it the 10 miles home?,what other probs could this be if not the relay?.
cars only done 64k from new

You could provide a feed to to the pump, from the cig lighter socket, but I would check to see if there are 12 volts to the pump under the back seat, there is a plug and socket that you can pull apart to check.
if this is missing it could be the fuel pump relay, a real pain to get at, but also it could also be related to the alarm system, I wont go into the detail of the alarm on a public forum.
