Default No spark, STi V3 Type-R

Hi,

I need some help with my -97 V3 STi Type-R.

I started the car in my garage couple days ago and moved it a few meters and shut it down. Next day I was thinking of taking it on a spin but it wouldnt start, it would only try to start and mostly pop in the exhaust. Took off a plug and it was wet from fuel.

The Gems ECU in my car isnt tuned that good for cold starts and it was really cold here so I just thought I fouled the plugs as it can be hard to start when cold sometimes.

Today I installed new plugs but now it doesnt even try to start, just cranks. I took a plug out and grounded it and I get no spark.

I measured the crank sensor and it was 1.9 ohm and the cam sensor was 2.01 ohm. Are those OK?

What should I test next? Any ideas please?!

Have you tried to dry the wet plugs and then try? By the way what plugs you got 7s or 8s?

If you read my first post more closely, you can see that I bought new plugs. When I took them off and tried to see if I get spark they dry in the air by them selves. I also tried with another set of plugs and it was the same outcome. Plugs are not the problem, it's something else.

Does GEMS list troubleshooting steps to follow in such a circumstance?

Does it have any way of telling you if your crank/cam sensors are faulty?

The Subaru workshop manual has a checklist to follow if you get no spark, you could try following it.
