Default Oil Flush?

Evening,

I'm going to be changing the oil soon on my car as its due, but I am considering wether or not to use an oil flush.
The old oil is quite dark in colour, so I would like any advise as to wether these engines are tollerant of a flushing agent or not?

This is my first Subaru aswell as my first 'performance' car so I want to treat it with the respect it deserves.

Any advise appreciated.

I'm not sure about using an engine flush to be honest, why not just use some 5w30 oil run it then drop it out and change it for what ever you normally use

Most specialists recommend not using a flush, they can cause more damage than good. If you change your oil at 6 monthly intervals, you shouldn't need to use one.

Exactly as above!
I would never use them in my cars. Just do regular oil changes with good quality oil!
