Default ECUExplorer Connectivity

I've been using ECUExplorer for a couple of months without issue. I was doing some logging the other day and it stopped working? Can't connect now. Interface seems to work OK (or the PC says its working OK). I've set the comms port to 2 but keeps flagging "comms port 2 no longer available for SSM"
Tried changing the port to comms port 1 and then I get "comms port 1 no longer available for SSM".

Any ideas for PC numb skull like me?

try reinstalling the device driver software for the tactrix cable.

It may have changed settings on your system with a window auto update
