Default 2 Master Cylinders Setup on a Classic?

Is anyone running 2 master cylinders on a classic Impreza, ones for the front brakes and one for the rears?

The owners of the garage i work for have 2 Seat Leon race cars and they have a 2 master cylinders setup.

Just wondering is this has been done on a classic and if so where is the master cylinder bracket available from?

Thanks

The only way you could do this is if you get a new pedal box (which i expect the seat leon race car has).. There will be a few people on here that have pro race scoobys will have these.

Like said above though, there is nothing wrong with the standard single MC... i use the standard one on my track car, but have the rear brake power adjustable by a bias valve (just gotta re-pipe the standard MC)

It doesn't have a pedal box. It's a real cool design, the rod goes into the center of an adapting unit and pushes 2 rods, 1 for each master cylinder, and you can adjust the bias by positioning the single rod off center into the 2 rod unit adaptor. Looks liek this:

O (Steering Wheel) - (Single Rod) = (Adapting Unit) 8 (2 Master Cylinders)

O-=8

A rock solid pedal is why.

Thanks

if you want a solid pedal just remove the servo assist, still seems like you would be doing it for the sake of it !

So they've gone for the single pedal box then instead:

Winding the rods in/out will adjust the bias each MC gets.

If its anything different from above, they will have custom made their own, so why not ask them to make you one?!

I just want a high up pedal that has minimal play and is as firm as possible. I've got bigger brakes all around and it's preventing this, unless i try a brand new MS which may or may not help, i tried a second hand one and it was the same.

Standard pedals lol. It's similar to that bracket minus the pedal, then put the bracket in the engine bay and have the rod through the fire wall connected to that rod on the bracket.

But that pedal looks good If i fitted that with new lines bet the pedal would feel awesome.

Thanks
