Hi all, im looking to fit a front mounted intercooler but i would like to keep my standard Air box. Is this impossible? Ive researched this and found most people have to chance, due to the pipe work.

My car is a v1 Classic.

The pipe goes through the wing where the airbox is, you could maybe keep the airbox if you routed both pipes under the engine or something.

Na mate, wont of been me, just sold my wrx bugeye and going to buy a blobeye sti next week.

 

It has been done! A dutch forum member has done it on his car! Flip the intercooler and use 60mm piping. Cut the bulge from the airbox and replace with a piece of plexiglass or something else. I'm going to do something similar on my own car.
