Hi any advice is welcome, ive got a 2001 bugeye wagon WRX, its standard apart from exhaust rear box! im hoping to reach 300bhp , im in the Army based in Germany im finding it difficult finding someone to do a re-map!! so is it possible to reach this figure without doing it? if so what are the best modifications do do?

 

your car needs to be remapped to run smoothly and efficiently making the most from any modifications . u will need an uprated turbocharger and injecters also to reach ur target also walbro fuel pump and decats

 

Yes, a re-map would be essential as part of a fairly hefty package.

Bigger turbo, £150
STI top mount intercooler or front mount intercooler, £130
STI pink injectors, £130
De-cat uppipe,
De-cat downpipe or sports cat downpipe,
Walboro fuel pump, £55
3 port boost solenoid, £20
Remap.

Might be something i've forgotten.

This should see you to around 320bhp, which is fairly safe for a WRX.

should be somewhere between 320-350 bhp

 

Did your decat include the up pipe?

 

actually it didnt , i had one fitted and heat wrapped wen i had my other mods carried out .

that prettymuch what mine has on bugeye and im getting 340/340 mate on the rollers with a good map so get it mapped u wont regret it.
With that sort of expense on mods a good £300 or so map would make u get your moneys worth.
what intercooler do u have? as mine was upgraded to the topmount sti.
