Unhappy Car cuts off!!!

Hey Guys..

I am starting to get this problem with my sti. When i start the car it starts first time and after about 30 seconds it cuts off and it wouldn't start again for about 5 minutes, but when the car is actually warmed up it never gives me problem with starting up.

And another problem i get is rarely it kind of jerks and it seems like its about to cut off and the management light comes on for few seconds and its back to normal again.

What you guys think?

Might be worth finding out what Check Engine light is coming on as both problems might be connected, should be a guide on here somewhere that'll show you how to do this.

Have a look here

http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/error_codes.asp.htm

Usually it's just a sensor needing changed.
Hopefully it's nothing serious for you mate.

if he meant the Maf (mass air flow), it might be worth trying to clean it (do a search on MAF -- lots of posts !!)
