i am wondering what the bhp off a 99 v reg wrx is ? looking at buying it the boy is saying it is 280bhp but didnt think it was as much as that any help would be great thanks

its defo a wrx not a uk turbo 2000 ?

as the wrx i thinkare around the 250 mark

and the uk's are 218

 

They should be 215 bhp 98 to 2000 model according to my book Thats uk europe and Australian models

 

Being slightly pedantic it's 280ps (276bhp) as this was the gentlemans agreement that japaneses car manufacturers had with the japanese government at the time.

Saloon as the wagon was a lot lower.

There was no UK WRX until the bug eye.

 

they look similialr unless you know what to look out for has it got a rear wiper ?

 

defo a import rear wiper

 

Theres no way they had that power ,with a prodrive package there only listing 238 bhp

 

The jap versions listed as 280ps with 328 Nm torque
