Where do i fit my new electical oil temp gauge?? it is a tim one where on the engine? please not a drill sump job!

I think most people are taking the reading from a plug on no. 3 cylinder. You can get a special plug from subaru (part no. 11024AA210) this will enable you to screw the probe into this, then into the main gall.
