Default How do I fit a new silicon intake pipe for turbo???

Hi,
Eventually got my oem damaged turbo intake pipe off. It's a version 3 sti wrx. Same motor layout as a v4 iirc. So I have a new pipe to go in...

My turbo an intercooler are out anyway as the turbo has been rebuilt. The intake manifold is still on.

Does anyone know how it's fitted under the intake or can anyone send me in the direction of a good thread??

Cheers everyone

take bolts out of intake manifold and it will lift up enough to get the new intake pipe in position then just connect all the small pipes , should be a doddle with no turbo on.

Ive fitted a few with inlet manifold and turbo still in place so with turbo out you have loads of room.

Right okay, I will try fitting again by pushing it through, and if that fails, I will unbolt the inlet, an see if I get enough play!! I was scared of the potential work with taking it right off!!

I threaded my Perrin intake without removing the manifold, in fact one of their selling points is the ease of fitting.
