TO GO IN

Subaru Impreza 2000 S reg 99 Manual Version 5

Is it a case of a straight swap with the loom and ecu the lot? Or to sell my scoob and source a box and lump for it?

I'm planning on doing this weekend? Is it possible?

Decisions? Decisions? Please help

"S" reg was from August 98 until January 99, and is V4.

 

thought it was version 5

 

its a late 99 facelift model makes it a v5

 

firstly why are you changing it? dead bottom end?

are you a good mechanic? i can write all day how to to do it but explain it abit first

 

S reg is version 5 I know as I've had 2 version 5's both on s regs

 

Basically I've just bought a mint 77k UK Turbo shell tax, test etc no engine,box,diff.

Wagon i currently have want to take engine box diff out of and put it in uk car. break remainder wagon.

Fairly mechanical minded done one subaru engine swap with a mate, several other swaps too. Can do no prob just bit bothered bout the import/uk bit.
And advice on any probs and best way to do the hard bits.
