Default Parrallel Import???

I bought my scooby ('03 BUGEYE WRX) from a dealer a few weeks ago and I asked if it was an import, he told me it was not. I bumped into the guy who bought my car from new today, and he told me its a parrallel import. Whats the difference between that and a Japanese import, and how will that affect me selling the car in the future??

Should'nt affect it at all, check the seats though as they are maybe the better sports seats without airbags
I bough a parallel import brand new in 03 it was written off a couple of years back and the insurance company paid out in full top book price no issue about it being import, they are built on the exact same production line by the exacat same people only main dealers will try telling you diffrent the lying swines
