Default EJ207 Head Gasket Thickness

Can anyone clarify what the standard head gasket thickness is on a EJ207 twin scroll engine fitted in my Spec C?

I believed that they are 1.00mm but I just want to check with someone with more knowledge than myself.

I thought the sizes were 1.0mm with repair sizes of 1.3mm or 1.6mm, do you mind if I ask where you got the 0.7mm size from?

Thanks Jura, I'm getting the heads on my Spec C lightly skimmed so I just wanted to make sure that the compression ratio is not compromised by using a gasket which is too thick.

I've ordered Cometic 1.0mm gaskets so at least I know now how much to skim off the cylinder head in order to give me a slight increase.

All new age 2.0L STi's have gasket 11044AA483. And is .68mm from memory. So .7mm just easier to say.

I checked today with a specialist Subaru engine builder (who I bought the gaskets from) and they are in fact 0.6mm on the EJ207 engines, so I need a light skim in order to maintain the compression ratio.

Thanks for your help.

lol too late! Yeah I was gonna say 0.6mm. Basically MY93-98 = 1.6mm; MY99/00 = 0.6mm

I would think even a light skim would see area. .14-.20 taken off. So cosworth 0.78mm ones be ideal replacements.
