Default Greedy emanager or other piggy backs

Why don't any Scoobs use these?
is it not possible?
or is there not the need as you can use a Esl?
sorry for being thick i don't understand the comp side of the car?
my last Gtir had an Emanager this is why i ask as it just seems cheaper to fit one of these instead of the Esl??

Your better off with remapped std ecu if poss or a stand alone ecu. My thinking about a piggyback ecu is it is slower to respond

The ECU has it's own built in safety protection and warning system and operates within certain parameters. The fitting of piggyback thingys often interferes with this. So leaving you open to terminal engine damage which could/will work out far more expensive than a ESL at £500 for example, or possibly even more than a full on Solaris at £1500. Rebuilds are expensive.

Piggybacks ECU is not good option as above guys says, rebuild are expensive and not worth for you at moment, due this you can have look for used Apexi PowerFC,Simtek or Syvecs which are standalone ECU and some can rid your MAF sensor.
