Default Quick help pls!!

Hi folks
Any ideas why engine is 1/4" from going back to the box? Clutch is in line an all fits on gearbox shaft but wont go in that last bit.

Looks like its not sliding all the way into the crank have you tried pulling it in with the bolts sometimes this helps

Is it going in dead straight wriggle/ push it and pray,perhaps the plate has moved

Yep all straight an wigglin. could it be the thrust bearing i got off fleabay?

Is the clutch lever still loose ie nothing come adrift,

is it the same gearbox, reason being i replaced one on a gt4 had same problem found it to be 2 dell hitting each other, just a possability mate

try cleaning the dowels up with abit of sandpaper bud they are a very tight fit sometimes , also the long dowel that holds the clutch fork in place is out still aint it? good luck mate

did you fit a new spigot bearing as looks like maybe not entering it, maybe check end of shaft for burrs/damage etc which may stop it going into bearing
