Can someone help me regarding fitting an STI TMIC to my WRX.

I have a 2006 Hawkeye and I had read somewhere that the mounting points for the intercooler were different from earlier models? If so do I need to get one from a Hawkeye STI or is it only a small change that is easy to do?

I do have a heat shield below by intercooler, over the turbo, picture below, not sure if this maybe means that an earlier intercooler may fit correctly?

Any help much appreciated.

 

I have a 2007 Hawkeye, and IM using a V7 JDM STi TMIC, fit just fine, no problems. (had to get a different TB silicone coupler, as the wrx one was too long.

Afaik, all newage tmic's should fit without any major mods.
