Default Changing wrx tmic to sti tmic

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how easy this is? Will I need anything else for it to fit.

The TMIC is off of a sti and my car is a hawkeye wrx.

I have sourced an sti undertray and am on the case of sourcing a new turbo.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Doug

Is there that much difference from fitting the sti. I keep uming and aring about doing it and if it's worth the effort.

I was just doing it for peace of mind really, I heard that the wrx tmic was good for 350bhp but got the sti one for a good price and if I wanted more power later on I heard the sti tmic was good for around the 400bhp Mark. Don't quote me in that thought as I could be wrong.

It was a git to fit, I ended up giving it to a garage to do, needed pipes trimming up and stuff, he had done it before!!

Defo a good mod to do

I fitted an sti intercooler to my wrx straight swapover no problem at all it was harder swapping the undertray as the sound deadening clips are easy to break.

Yeah been told to take the undertray off gently as the clips break. Thanks for the reminder though.
