Default can smell radiator antifreeze/water really strong

Hi guys i have an impreza 1997 uk turbo, when the car is running you can smell the radiator really strong, just wondered if any 1 no why, ive been told it could be water pump but its not leaking anywere. Header tank is still full but my main pipe to radiator when car is running is pretty hard should this happen or is it pressureizing. Thanx

Check the floor inside the car, incase the heater matrix is leaking!
