Is the engine from a twin turbo M plate legacy basically the same as a 95 WRX Engine.Could it be used in an Impreza with the standard turbo from the wrx ?

Yes!! You have to change the exhaust manifold tho & change the intake pipe under the manifold!!

 

sorry to hijack is anything needed from the legacy side such as manifold et or will all manifold from scooby fit

 

use the impreza exhaust manifold,intake as well, quite an easy job, just have to remember to block the oil feed and return on the 2nd turbo.

basically take the engine out the legacy, take out intake and the exhaust manifold out fit your imprezas manifolds (intake and exhaust) block the oil feed and return for the 2nd turbo and you are good to go.
