Default LIGHT HELLLLLLLP

Few weeks ago i noticed my lights had gone off whilst on the way home so did all the routine stuff of checkking all fuses in both boxes, all the relays and thenm all the bulbs and still nothing.

so after a chat with steve and the lads at cotcomp (cheers guys) i decided to change the stalk so managed to get hold of one from a mates car so i knew it was wrking.

got round to fitting it this morning and when i go to sidelights only one rear and all my dash lights up.

then if i turn to main beam it works fine then dipped beam works a treat.

But still no sidelights and only 1 rear light.

Does anyone have any ideas what i could of done wrong.

cheers in advance

find the ground wire in the rear light that is not working and put a temp ground on it direct to a bolt behind light panel.

sounds ground related imho too

Thats the problem with dc voltage relies on good earth (ground) for circuits to work .

Most probebly as mentioned by simon you got bad earth.
