where does this pipe go to?
just fitted my new apexi induction kit today and noticed a pipe just sitting there doing nothing, only noticed it when i removed my standard air box does anyone no where it goes to, couple of pics below,

It goes back into the inlet duct. The Apexi comes with a alloy delete pipe does it not? There is a small take off pipe on the delete that the loose pipe goes too. It can also be left to vent to atmos'.

Just one question. Why have you removed a perfectly capable OE air-box and replaced it with, imho, an inferior product that is now drawing in warm/less dense air instead of nice cold/denser air??
Your filter is only inches away from a hot rocker cover, not to mention the super hot air rising up the same gap from the headers. This can only decrease bhp!!

It seems to be a lot of fekking about and un-nessisary expense for very minimal, if any gains.
A KnN or Green panel filter fitted in the OE box would be a far better/safer option and would give 'proven' gains. Also with a 'ram' feed from the front you are at risk of water ingress into the MAF and engine alike. All imho of course.
good luck with the induction kit mate had mine on for 3 months and my MAF is shot, im spluttering and back firing all over the shop when hard driving and idle has got bad, wish i had listened to the advice and just upgraded my OE box panel filter.
